Mission of the South Carolina Chapter of the ASET

Mission Statement:

South Carolina Chapter of ASET – The Neurodiagnostic Society (SC-ASET) provides leadership, advocacy and resources that promote professional excellence and quality patient care in neurodiagnostics. As a membership organization, SC-ASET advances the field by serving member needs, defining and endorsing standards of practice, providing innovative educational opportunities, promoting the profession and building coalitions in allied health and other membership communities. Neurodiagnostics includes but is not limited to Autonomic Reflex Testing (ART), Electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials (EP), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), Polysomnography Technology (PSG), Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM), Long Term Monitoring (LTM) and Intensive Care Unit Continuous EEG Monitoring (ICU / cEEG).

South Carolina Chapter Vision Statement:

South Carolina Chapter of ASET – The Neurodiagnostic Society is a membership organization of professionals in the neurodiagnostic field in the state of South Carolina. We strive to be a catalyst for collaboration, education and technology to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care in Neurodiagnostics.
